Members of the Dardanup Heritage Collective visited the Bunbury Museum and Heritage Centre in June to view the Centre’s storage facilities and ask questions of the staff. Members were interested to find out how collected materials are safely stored to help plan for their own Collection. One of the aims of the group is to set up a facility where history and heritage items can be collected from the public, catalogued and securely stored. It is expected that the Collection will be used for research purposes and eventually to prepare for displays.
