Adventures on the Ferguson is a collection of eight newspaper articles, originally printed in the Bunbury Herald in 1908, humorously recounting a journey from Bunbury through the Ferguson Valley.  The central character and narrator is part-fiction but the people he meets along the way were real, early settlers on the Ferguson River.  Woven into the main story are a set of tall tales, rambling implausible stories told and retold for entertainment. This collection gives modern readers a rare window into the past of this cherished region.

The book also contains an introduction and a biography of the author, the South Bunbury Correspondent, William Moyes.
